kushari, non vegan version, pinoy style

instead of lentil, use ground meat. season and cook with rice/ or pre cook rice and add to sautéed, seasoned ground meat. cook pasta separately -

sauce: tomato sauce - fresh or canned, if fresh use plenty of tomatoes, saute in garlic and onions, fried in high temp to caramelize tomato sugar

garbanzo topping: season with salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, oil, chili flakes, garlic/poweder

fried onions

Assembly: fluff rice, mix with pasta. plate, pour sauce. top with garbanzo and onion

side dish: protein - fried egg or fried meat
